        Verdict

        There was cut in the ground when White Shaheen and MEROULA ran in separate divisions of the same maiden over track and trip. The former could only manage sixth but the latter was not beaten far when fourth behind Royal Reserve and Harry Dunlop's filly gets the vote. Mystikana showed only modest progress at Newbury last time and the same comment applies to Kismet Hardy, who drops back in distance having failed to threaten in a couple of starts at Goodwood. The selection's stablemate Finelcity is related to winners though sports blinkers for her racecourse debut.
