Verdict
SCRUTINISE overcame all sorts of trouble to narrowly win over 1m4f at Goodwood last time. Upped 4lb, but dropped in class, Ed Dunlop's charge can land a treble stepping up in trip. Mark Hopkins looks a threat having won a maiden at Newbury in good style though that was back in July but the winning runs of both Air Squadron and Champagne Champ came to end off similar marks to today on their latest starts. Xinbama is not without a shout in this grade while Faithful Mount is a course and distance winner on good ground but is 6lb higher for this.
