Verdict
Andrew Balding won this race last season and with Kieran Shoemark able to claim 3lb off the back of STYBBA, we will take the filly to have progressed enough from her Kempton run to defy the assessor's imposition of a 6lb rise for her labours. Stoneham is still a maiden after eight runs but she's not been far away with recent placed efforts at Yarmouth and Bath. Picks Pinta has tended to race keenly in the early stages of his races so it remains to be seen as to how he will respond to racing under hands and heels. Fruit Pastille appeared to flounder on soft going at Windsor last time but she was not disgraced on a previous experience of turf racing at Nottingham and she is entitled to go close off a 3lb lower mark.
