Verdict
LUCKY NUMBER is penalised for last week’s success at Bath but won a shade comfortably and the Haggas grey can go in again and confirm superiority with Sea Of Marengo in the process. Bruyere found stablemate and favourite Classic Charm much too good when runner-up at Nottingham but Cuttin' Edge finished a close-up fourth at Ffos Las on his first start after wind surgery and should be in the mix. Red Gunner ran well when second at Bath again but it remains to be seen if he can reproduce the same form here.
