      Verdict

Milton Bradley has his team in good order at present and Whistler gained due reward for consistency when a comfortable winner at Nottingham last week. The son of Selkirk should give another good account despite a 5lb penalty while Eastern Trumpeter is well treated and looks ready to strike following recent placed efforts. The penalised Soaked also enters calculations on his Ripon success last week while the in-form Sister In Law along with Diamond Ring and Blakeshall Boy are others to consider in a typically open Showcase event.
