Verdict
Whitbarrow confirmed himself as one of the leading juvenile sprinters last term when landing the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood and returned in tremendous heart to make all under top weight for a convincing win at Haydock last month. A repeat of that performance may suffice here despite a 4lb penalty Rod Millman's charge will take plenty of pegging back. Hiddendale was a promising third in the Nell Gwyn before finishing down the field in the 1,000 Guineas but will appreciate the drop in both class and trip. Palace Affair will relish the conditions and should give another good account while Repertory, a fair third under a big weight behind Rudi's Pet at Epsom last time may fare best of the remainder.
