Verdict
This has all the makings of a furiously ruin affair and although Music Maid arrives here at the top of her game she has a little to prove off her current mark. Therefore, she may be worth taking on in her bid for the hat-trick and the lightly raced Sattam is just preferred over Resonate, Jazzy Millennium and Social Contract here. The selection has obviously had his problems over the years and is in danger of becoming disappointing. But this is not the strongest test he has ever encountered and could provide him with the ideal opportunity to register that illusive first career win. His latest outings have left the impression that he is about to strike and, with almost the best of the draw today, there will be no excuse in defeat now. Three Days In May is a speedy individual who could tow them along at a fair clip and is capable of holding on for a place at least. Whereas Resonate - a surprise winner of the ladies race at Ascot - reverted to type last time out and is one to wary of. Those are sentiments that apply to most of the field so a small stakes investment in Sattam is recommended as the best policy here in light of some of the racing coming up elsewhere later in the week.
