In depth
Verdict
Highly tried in his last two starts, Lake Garda should appreciate this drop in class and is taken to open his account at the main expense of Dance To My Tune and Momtic. The last mentioned stepped up on his debut effort when third behind Compton's Eleven at Yarmouth last month. He rates a bigger danger than Dance To My Tune, who is becoming exposed and was well beaten off a mark of 65 in a Ripon nursery last time. Similar comments apply to Palvic Moon and Chicago Bond, who was not beaten far behind Feu Duty at Musselburgh last week, holds more solid claims. However, Lake Garda should be tough to beat. Bryan McMahon's son of Komaite found one too good in each of his first two starts in Leicester maidens before finishing mid-division in valuable sales races at Newbury and Doncaster in his last two starts. This represents a big drop in class and Lake Garda should be able to take advantage of it.
