In depth
Verdict
This should not take a great deal of winning and the vote goes to Ei Ei, who gets the vote over the consistent Stallone and Mcgillycuddy Reeks. Front running hurdler and chaser Ei Ei has his first start on the level for more than three years and could be interesting, as he has improved during that time. Michael Chapman's gelding makes more appeal than Stallone, who is running well but has been raised again by the handicapper and faces a stiff task off top weight. Mcgillycuddy Reeks, on the other hand, has slipped to a fair mark and could go well at a decent price. Peter Hiatt's Isa'af is 6lbs lower than when last successful and is another worthy of a mention, along with Musselburgh selling handicap winner Rousing Thunder. A market move for Sting Like A Bee would be of interest but we will stick with Ei Ei, in the hope that he can translate his jumps form back on the level.
