        Verdict

        Maygold has won a couple of lower grade sprints including at Goodwood recently but was beaten in this grade in between. OPEN WIDE moves in the opposite direction and should find this easier than his latest task at Haydock where he ran well enough in third. Amanda Perrett’s charge gets the vote ahead of Handytalk, who was beaten less than a length at Bath last time. Our Lord should have come on for last month’s reappearance and has a shout on last year’s form while the unexposed Always Amazing has been gelded since last seen in action in August.
