    Verdict

A smashing race in which Etlaala can get the better of Presto Shinko and Balmont. Barry Hills has his string in fine form and Etlaala, who had looked good prior to coming unstuck in a Group 2 event on easier going last time, should go well again back on this type of surface. That said, the very useful Presto Shinko comes here in great heart, Balmont has plenty of excellent Group efforts to his name, Out After Dark cannot be ruled out based on his good Temple Stakes run last time, Philharmonic is weighted to go close with Etlaala based on seven-furlong April Leicester form, and Pivotal Flame's Palace House Stakes second two runs ago showed that he can handle fast going, although softer conditions probably suit ideally. As we say, it's a good race, with the vote going to Etlaala.
