    Verdict

The short list of Liberate, Meadow Mischief and Call Me George picks itself really, with Liberate shading the call. Surprise, surprise, Liberate has improved for the step into handicaps for the legendary Sir Mark Prescott and can go well here despite an 11-pounds rise for his Hamilton win. Meadow Mischief rates a big danger, though, based on a narrow Nottingham defeat. Call Me George has improved of late for the step up to today's trip and must also be granted all due respect. For us, though, the vote stays with Liberate.
