Verdict

Richard Hannon fields three contenders but SIGNCASTLE CITY (NAP) makes most appeal by far unless the market suggests otherwise. The Dark Angel colt shaped with notable promise when fifth of 13 in what is frequently an informative maiden at the Newmarket July meeting. A repeat of that level should suffice though a further jolt of improvement is anticipated. Expeditious, not disgraced on either start for Alice Haynes who is having a really good season, is seen as the likely beneficiary should the selection not fire. Madam Pickle was out the back on both starts and the market should help to inform about the newcomers, of which Brasilian Princess appeals most on paper.
