Verdict
Mark Hopkins is back for more having won last year’s renewal but is 5lb higher today and hasn’t raced since August. STANLEY is preferred as Richard Hughes’ charge was beaten less than a length when fourth over today’s trip at Doncaster last time and can race off the same mark. Tarte Tropezienne won a maiden over 1m4f last term and can figure if lasting home and Monjeni also has a shout on his return given he made a winning reappearance last year before picking-up another couple of races.
