Verdict
The vote here goes to Grantley Adams ahead of mainly Advanced and Loyal Royal. Much as Advanced has not been seen since finishing ninth in the Gimcrack, he is clearly held in some regard and can go well. Ans Bach couldn't built on his winning debut in Group company last time, while The Snatcher has a bit to find on overall form. Grantley Adams won a fair nursery from a mark of 90 last time and he is afforded claims, while Loyal Royal's second to the well-regarded Bonny Prince Blue last time brings him into the reckoning. Memphis Man has also only found Bonny Prince Blue too good for him at maiden level, while Macvel's fourth in a valuable Doncaster nursery last time suggests that she could get involved. Overall, though, in this interesting contest, we will side with Grantley Adams.
