Verdict
Sudden Dismissal might provide the answer here, with Saint Jordi, Aberdeen, Fairmile and Notnowcato rated his biggest dangers. The selection won his maiden well enough at Kempton two runs ago and then never really threatened when seventh at Group 3 level behind Satchen last time. However, his overall form is at least on a par with the opposition's and, stepped up in trip and with his stable in pretty good form, he can go well. Saint Jordi came good at Windsor last time and should improve again, as should Palatinate, who scored over course and distance last time, but that was on soft and more will be needed today. Aberdeen was very unlucky not to score last time over six furlongs at Goodwood and the winner there is well regarded. Given that, on breeding, he will relish today's trip, he must hold solid claims. Fairmile has shown more than enough so far to warrant consideration, while Notnowcato's Warwick debut second entitles him to a chance too. However, on this occasion we are happy to side with Sudden Dismissal.
