In depth

Verdict

Several ran over course and distance last time with COLONEL WHITEHEAD winning on his first attempt at 7f. There should be more to come from him over the trip and he’s taken to confirm latest running with third-placed Alfie Solomons. Claudius Secundus was placed when up against fellow three-year-olds at the same fixture here while Blessed finished runner-up at the track on his handicap debut. Dutch Story can finish closer back on a faster surface today and both Don't Tell Claire and With Promise may improve now handicapping.
