      Verdict

      BULLET FORCE was no match for the winner when runner-up over course and distance but the Group 2 entry showed enough to suggest he can win at this level if acting on the softer going. Sea King failed to threaten at Haydock on his debut but one of the newcomers could prove a threat. Soul Stopper is related to several winners and represents last year’s winning yard while Westover is a full-brother to a couple of winners and both are preferred to Allen Key.
