Mumtaaz is back on a winning mark and placed on fast ground here last time while Appellation faced a tough task at Ascot last month having won at Leicester earlier. But FLORENCE STREET posted her best effort so far when finding one too good at Newbury and may well open her account in this with Andrew Balding’s yard in fine form. Dark Spec will be sharper for a recent return from a lengthy absence and is preferred to Ascraeus and Crema Inglesa as he drops down a grade.
