Verdict

The likes of Constans, Evangelist and Raging Bear should all have benefited from their initial runs but the interesting one in this maybe EXCESS KNOWLEDGE. The choice of William Buick ahead of stablemate Nichols Canyon, the Monsun colt has an entry in the Royal Lodge and next year's Derby and is sure to know his job at the first time of asking. Soviet Rock is another with a nice pedigree and he also has some fancy entries so it would be no surprise to see Andrew Balding's newcomer in the firing-line as well.
