Dahman, Chapter and Kharish look the three to concentrate on here and the vote goes to Dahman to improve and take the contest. Kharish finished a place and one-and-a-half lengths to the good over Dahman when the pair were third and fourth behind Oude at Newmarket in a decent maiden that sets the standard for this race. Of the pair, Dahman was slowly into his stride on debut but stayed on well and will appreciate this extra furlong and will also be much better for that run. Kharish had already seen the racecourse once before then and may not come on as much this time as the selection. Of the remainder, Chapter perhaps makes most appeal after a couple of decent efforts in defeat. Faster ground here will help him as will the step up in trip from seven furlongs and we anticipate more from him this time. The selection here though is Dahman.
