      Verdict

An interesting affair in which Tokyo Rose, Twitch Hill and Blue Echo form the shortlist and we side with Tokyo Rose. Richard Hannon's charge made an eyecatching debut nine days ago and was guilty only of getting tired close home. She looks the sort who will improve for time and anything achieved here is a bonus. Twitch Hill ran a solid debut at Haydock on heavy ground. She can be expected to improve. Blue Echo did not do a lot wrong at Sandown on her second start and is a surefire future winner if not coming up against something with further improvement. La Cuvee would be of interest if seeing any market support while River Tarrant and Shantina's Dream are both eligible for nurseries after today. Tokyo Rose looks most open to improvement and secures the nomination.
