    Verdict

    State Crown has already run in a couple of handicaps against older horses but isn’t really progressing. Marta Des Mottes has her sights lowered but is only receiving 2lb from Hudson De Grugy, who landed the odds here last time having finished second over track and trip on his UK debut. VOLKOVKA has come on in leaps and bounds since getting off the mark at Market Rasen in December. She is almost guaranteed to run her race again and that may well be good enough.
