Verdict
Kristal Dancer indicated at Nottingham last month that she would be suited by a step up to this sort of trip and is taken to open her account which we take her to do with Ambrosine and Wasted Talent looking the main dangers. The selection is trained by John Dunlop, who does particularly well with this type of horse and, having done her best work at the end of the race when chasing home Karaoke last time, she should prove too strong for her rivals. Wasted Talent and Ambrosine finished second and fourth respectively behind La Dolfina at Brighton last month and are closely weighted on running that day. Both are entitled to go close, as is Poppyline, who lost no caste in defeat behind Phred at Windsor last time. This looks tougher though and Willie Muir's filly may struggle in this company. The John Hills-trained Pont Neuf is another to have run better on her most recent start but that was on a softer surface and she may not be at home on today's going.
