        Verdict

        Aroha has yet to win but has finished second in all three starts this year, including on her handicap debut at Goodwood, and was taking on top opposition last season. Long Haired Lover is a less-exposed maiden with decent claims but Starry Eyes has proved best on Dirt so far and is having a first run for the Crisfords and a first outing since February. A second race in quick succession at Newmarket proved too much for Chepstow scorer SPARKLING OLLY (NAP) but she has had a nice rest since so may be ready to resume winning ways
