Verdict
A really good field for this Listed sprint headed by last year's Windsor Castle and Flying Childers victor, Ardad. However, he must concede weight all round to a set of progressive and talented rivals and was most disappointing on his reappearance when well beaten in Listed grade at York. He's probably best watched for now. Copper Knight blitzed his field in an ultra-competitive York handicap last time in a manner indicating that Listed grade is a logical step. He could go close but has been done no favours by his wide draw. Fashion Queen showed a fine attitude to prevail at York and is respected but a chance is taken with GHEEDAA on her seasonal debut, albeit to conservative stakes. She rated a useful filly in the making last term and William Haggas is not one to tilt at windmills. She's one to note whatever her fate here.
