Verdict

High numbers are favoured in sprints here and with that in mind we will take Our Acquaintance to land the opener, with Ben a potential danger and Don't Tell Anna also on the short list. The selection made a pleasing debut when a five length third on soft ground at Lingfield last month and will certainly come on for that run. He is a half brother to juvenile 5f winners and it is anticipated that he will show us enough at the second time of asking to take this. Ben has been running consistently well over both five and six furlongs and on all types of ground. He was not beaten far at Lingfield last time and with his favourable draw he can again take a close hand. Don't Tell Anna will emerge from a more central berth but she is also on an upward curve and can go well, though she may need more time before winning is a reality. Sandy Par has his ground and drops back to 5f here, so is interesting, while Sailor At Sea has a low draw to contend with and probably needs to show more thna on debut to be considered backable, so preference here is for Our Acquaintance.
