Punta Galera probably has the best form of those to have raced previously but this is likely to go to one of the many well-bred newcomers in the field with marginal preference for Mighty over the Godolphin pair of Highland Blaze and Dawn Quest. The last mentioned looks the less likely of the two bin Suroor runners with Kerrin McEvoy preferring to partner the Unbridled's Song colt Highland Blaze. However, the boys in blue have hardly set the world alight with their juveniles this term and it may pay to leave the pair along today. Michael Jarvis is more than capable of producing a two-year-old to win first time out but his representative Tower Hill is bred to do better over further being by Grand Lodge and of more interest may be Sir Michael Stoute's King's Best colt Best Alibi. Andrew Balding's Kalankari is entitled to improve again for his recent spin at Epsom but the one that gets the vote is Mighty. A half-brother by Pivotal to Group 2 winner Danehurst, he looks the part on pedigree and, with the stable's horses in form right now, may well be good enough to score first time out.
