        Verdict

        Interim Payment, Pugilist and Evolution Ex are the three to concentrate on here and the vote is given to Interim Payment. The selection looks to be going the right way and she has won on each of her last two starts. She won well when beating Bazelle at Doncaster last time and from the plum draw today she should be hard to beat. Pugilist rates the main danger as he scored at Newbury last time when beating Borouj. That was a workmanlike effort and he will need to improve to get competitive here. Evolution Ex at least has experience of handling this track and he was a fair third over this course and distance last time behind Torrens. He is not without ability and is entitled to respect. Torrens looks a little high in the weights at present and is opposed and for the winner we return to Interim Payment.
