In depth
Verdict
Morzine, Jeanmaire and Oceans Apart are three against the field here and the vote is given to Morzine. The selection is dropped significantly in grade after being outclassed at Newbury last time. She is probably best judged on her debut effort at Haydock when she beat Countrywide Belle and a reproduction of that effort today would make her hard to beat. Jeanmaire was suited by the cut in the ground when beating Cantabria at Windsor last time. She won well that day so it will be interesting to see how she gets on today on this faster surface. Oceans Apart is back to a more suitable grade here and from a good draw she is entitled to run well. Waterline Twenty has perhaps not lived up to her early promise but she does have ability and is not one to dismiss lightly. We will therefore return to Morzine who looks the one to beat.
