Verdict
Yankee George has the best claims overall, with Gillipops, Twilight Avenger and Impeccable Guest seen as the principal dangers. Mick Channon appears to have found a suitable opportunity for Yankee George to get back to winning ways after his two latest defeats at Newbury. Prior to those back-to-back defeats at the Berkshire track, the son of Cape Cross had made all at Epsom before following up at Doncaster, and on those efforts, this claimer should be well within his grasp. Gillipops opened her account in a Lingfield maiden before flopping badly in a Windsor nursery next time, and with her sights being lowered as well, Richard Hannon's filly can give the selection most to do. The rest are hard to fancy, although Twilight Avenger has bits and pieces of placed form, while Impeccable Guest comes from a shrewd yard so should be noted in the market, but Yankee George is the one to be on.
