        Verdict

        Geranium scored over the track and trip a year ago then followed up in impressive fashion at Newmarket. She may need to come down a pound or two but is still capable of going well. Sandy Steve has only won on Polytrack and finished runner-up at Kempton last time while Shaffire's only success to date came in a Class 6 at Wolverhampton. Three C's has been expertly placed by George Baughey to win five times for the yard though never over a trip this far while Alvaro's lone success came over 1m4f on Polytrack. Dyagilev hardly ever runs on Turf these days so the vote goes to VOI, who is on a long losing run but now 5lb lower than her last success plus her rider's 5lb claim.
