In depth

Verdict

Monasada looks a typical Stoute slow-burner and though she probably beat little at Nottingham there was a promise of better things ahead so she is likely to be fancied to make a successful handicap debut. Royal Toast is still a maiden but certainly getting closer, though he could have done without a 4lb rise for finishing second last time. Lemoncetta was making her handicap debut when gaining a battling victory at Newmarket on soft ground and a 4lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run. But FREIGHT TRAIN made all for an impressive victory in a Doncaster maiden and is in the 'could be anything' category so he's taken to make his long journey from Middleham pay off.
