    Verdict

Inke has picked up a penalty for Tuesday's very easy victory at Kempton but she'd run very well here on her previous start and has to be in the firing-line. Hala Madrid was odds-on for a poor Wetherby maiden but only just scrambled home though didn't run badly in a Goodwood handicap later. IXELLES DIAMOND scored at Epsom a year ago and, though she hasn't won subsequently, her overall form puts her right in the frame and she's given the nod. She was conceding Pacolita 11lb when beaten a short-head back on the Downs last month and the revised weights just favour her with Jack Garritty's claim taken into account.
