Verdict
Mountain Peak is at the peak of his powers but he has struggled when encountering soft ground in the past and is now on a career-high mark. Blue De Vega arrives on a hat-trick and makes more appeal while Saaheq will handle conditions and has won off higher marks. Benny And The Jets is speedy but has done most of his winning so far on the all-weather. DAVE DEXTER is suited by give in the ground, as he showed when overcoming a tardy start to get back to winning ways at Chepstow. Cowboy Soldier was only fourth that day and Ralph Beckett’s charge remains well treated on past form.
