In depth

Verdict

In the opener, Mister Quasimodo gets the vote ahead of Regal Heights and Blu Teen. Blu Teen improved to win at Lingfield last time and, much as today's going will present him with no problems, he needs to improve again in order to score. Mister Quasimodo showed improved form to run Noland to two lengths at Exeter last time and, although it probably would not be right to take that form literally, his chance is respected. Much as Regal Heights has achieved the highest rating of these after beating Two Miles West last time, we think that others can give him a good race, hence the selection being Mister Quasimodo. Senorita Rumbelita had looked a little bit quirky before winning at last time and she too is respected although this going will be new to her, while Vinando looks to have to find a few pounds to score. Once again, Mister Quasimodo gets the vote.
