Verdict
The vote here goes to Cyborsun ahead of Roznic and Acertack. Biliverdin would hold good claims based on his 2004 form, but two runs since an absence will need to be improved upon. Roznic has looked very game in winning his last two races, particularly at Warwick last time, but a further eight-pounds rise for that success will make things trickier. Indian Gunner has not been seen for a couple of years, while Myson is often placed although his best form has come on going less testing than today's. Walcott Lad was beaten from his revised mark after winning at Fontwell but, if you forgive him that Fakenham run, he might go well, while Acertack was only narrowly beaten off today's mark at Plumpton four runs ago and a repeat of that type of effort means his is no forlorn chance. Finally, even though he has been raised seven pounds for his Sedgefield win, you can build the case for Cyborsun running well based on his Irish form. So much so, in fact, that he is the selection.
