Verdict

West Drive won this last year but only ran twice subsequently and has changed stables. Rolling Maul hails from a yard in top form though he hasn't been running all that well over timber this summer. Great White Shark's two victories last summer were on ground with plenty of give and he's never raced over a trip this far but the lightly-raced Petitioner was in the lead at this distance before fading when tackling 2m at Kempton. JUST IN TIME finished 2l in front in that latter event after looking like winning. He completed a hat-trick last summer and looks back to his best so gets the vote though Al Kout, who was having only his fourth start when chasing home Belisa at Newcastle, has to be respected.
