Verdict
Last year’s first three are all in action again. Step Back and Rock The Kasbah both ran in the Grand National and were pulled up and brought down respectively while third Present Man is having a first run since wind surgery. The Young Master won this in 2016 and has staged something of a revival this season while Give Me A Copper has been lightly campaigned this term, though didn’t fire at Cheltenham. Joe Farrell didn’t take to the Aintree fences but ran a nice race at Newbury before that and is another who has had a light campaign. Beware The Bear has won a couple of lucrative handicaps at Cheltenham this year and is a sound stayer but there should be plenty of improvement to come from TALKISCHEAP over this trip. The novice got outpaced when finishing behind Adrien Du Pont in a Grade 3 at Kempton in February but he can put his stamina to full use here.
