Verdict

Once again, an interesting race and Grand Rich King might just have the call. A course winner, Brian Meehan's Grand Lodge colt was just touched off by Sutter's Fort last time, and that rates as solid juvenile form. Naaddey finished a length behind Psychiatrist at Newbury last time over a furlong shorter and they meet again at level weights. Opera Babe was quite highly tried in her first two outings but ran a stinker at Chepstow four days ago and has questions to answer now. Saffron Fox took a run-of-the-mill Goodwood maiden last time and more is now required. It's a close call but the nod just goes to Grand Rich King over Psychiatrist.
