Verdict

Fox Leicester has been competing in better company since winning in this grade at Chelmsford and is preferred to Renegade Master, who landed a double at Lingfield back in Janaury. Hold Still ended last year with a victory over 7f at Kempton and Steeve has been gelded since going close at Newmarket in October. Several go handicapping for the first time including Windsor third Sparkle In His Eye and Eardley Road, who won over 6f on the all-weather earlier in the year, but PROMISE OF SUCCESS gets the speculative vote. The Godolphin filly was placed at Salisbury on her return from a lay-off and there should be plenty more to come if fancy entries at Royal Ascot are anything to go by.
