Saeed bin Suroor has a a strong hand in this Group two event, with both New South Wales and Papineau in the line up, however Mr Dinos is the class horse and taken to give weight and a beating to his rivals. The selection raced sluggishly at the rear of the field in the Yorkshire Cup and, despite picking up in the straight, never looked likely to pose a serious threat. The holding ground may have been against him, and the trip was obviously an absolute minimum for him these days in any case. The ground and trip should be ideal today and last years Ascot Gold Cup victor can regain the winning thread. New South Wales ran well in the Queens Vase last term but may be in need of the run. Frankie Dettori has chosen to ride the other Godolphin entry Papineau, who bounced back from a knee injury to beat stablemate Songlark over twelve furlongs at Goodwood last time. The trip is unknown territory but he certainly merits every respect. The French raider Risk Taker is also worthy of a mention but with everything in his favour Mr Dinos is given the verdict.
