In depth

Verdict

Mckelvey gets the confident vote to win this novices chase with Cumbrian Knight and Page Point rating the main dangers. The selection was the best of these over hurdles, is sure to have been well schooled for this his chasing debut and need only put in a clear round to score under conditions that suit. Cumbrian Knight rates the main danger on his latest third behind Saintsaire, this looks much easier, and as he has experience over fences he is a danger to all. Page Point is another that could go well on his best hurdles form but that has come on softer ground and for that reason he is overlooked. Of the remainder, Riyadh has the ability to go close but does not always use it and for the winner we return to Mckelvey.
