Verdict

Overtheedge was a 100/1 chance when well beaten at Kelso but came out at Wetherby six days later, attracted some support, and beat the long odds-on Flashjack with a bit in hand. BLEU ET NOIR was having his first start since November and ran a bit fresh when just run out of it by Byron Flyer at Newton Abbot last month. There's more to come and he can go one better. Rocky Two is a regular around here but has still to break his duck in similar company but Irish Hawke, a lightly-raced winner on the Flat for Luca Cumani, is one to note on his hurdling bow.
