A poor seller here but something has to win and the main protagonists look to be Black Chalk, Kingscourt Lad and Pips Assertive Way and the tentative vote is given to Kingscourt Lad. The selection was a fair third in similar grade behind Viennchee Run. He looks sure to be suited by the return to this trip and in a poor affair he looks a value bet. Black Chalk rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Bamby. However that was over a longer trip but he was keen on that occasion so this shorter distance may suit. Pips Assertive Way is another that could go well on his latest third in a claimer behind Adjami but he looks vulnerable under top weight. Of the others Atticus Boy hails from a yard that like a tilt at the ring and should be watched in the market while Arctic Cove's best form is with more cut in the ground and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Kingscourt Lad.
