In depth

Verdict

Instant Replay ran well over a shorter trip here on his reappearance but disappointed at Kelso last time. Twasn't The Plan was placed yet again when second at Chepstow recently and rises further in the weights while CALIVIGNY reverts to the larger obstacles having scored over hurdles at Ayr last month. But he’s won twice before over fences and Neil Alexander’s charge may well be good enough again. Manwell won off a higher mark over these fences early in the year but has struggled in both outings so far this season.
