In depth
Verdict
A field large in numbers but low in quality. Fortunate Dave a good fourth in a class B handicap behind Do L'Enfant d'Eau last time out is taken to score now he returns to novice company with conditions in his favour. Montessori Mio was a fair fourth behind Turn Of Phrase last time out under similar conditions. However although he travels well in his races he does not always find as much as is expected off the bridle and for that reason he is readily opposed. Transit is the only other in the field that has strong claims on form he was a fair second behind Bushido at Hexham last time and that form has since been franked. However he appeared triples on the flat and he looks the same over hurdles. Of the remainder Albundy who finished behind Moteessori Mio last time out has the most scope for improvement as he has only had two runs over hurdles.
