Verdict
Jonaem a good winner over a longer trip at this course last time out when defeating Mister Dave's is taken to defy his penalty. He travelled well through out on that occasion and he would also have scored at this trip so the drop in distance should not be a problem. Frankincense is another course and distance winner who could go now he is back in his winning grade. However his best form is with much more cut in the ground and for that reason he is over looked. Golden Thunderbolt is another worthy of consideration as he is taking a drop in class and he is proven on the ground. Cristophe has been in good form over longer trips over fences of late and although he is taking a drop in grade he may not have the toe for this shorter trip back over hurdles. Brooksby Wharlton is another with a chance on his best form but he has pulled up on his last two runs and he may be best watched. Of the remainder Over The Hill is from a shrewd yard who goes well in the conditions and any market confidence should be noted.
