Verdict

Balranald followed up a second at Kelso with a third over course and distance last month but is just 1-28 over timber. SAWPIT SIENNA is only a pound higher than when scoring at Taunton at the start of the year and Harriet Tucker takes off a further 5lb. Sam Drinkwater’s mare could go close in this if a run at Worcester has blown away the cobwebs. El Jefe seeks a second course victory off the back of a second at Kelso while My Brother Jack placed again off this mark at Market Rasen and, though still a maiden, should be competitive again.
