Verdict
Not the strongest of novice chases and it could pay to side with Polyphon, with Dabus and Your Advantage set to chase him home. Peter Monteith's gelding came good at Musselburgh the time before last when beating Jericho by a comfortable seven lengths. He wasn't disgraced next time when third to fifth to the smart Oneway and against much weaker opponents today he hold very strong claims. Dabus, a decent enough hurdler, hasn't shown too much in a couple of outings over the larger obstacles but should have benefited from the experience and may improve. Your Advantage shaped quite well on his only outing over fences at Bangor and should be involved in the fight for place money. Smurfit could prove best of the other three runners, but it looks a pretty simple task for Polyphon who is a confident selection
